About Project Jasmine
Our organization was founded in honor of Jasmine Gantt, our beautiful, kind daughter whose life was taken far too soon.
Project Jasmine is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization based in Columbia, SC that addresses domestic violence and gun violence through education, advocacy, mentorship, resources, and community outreach.
After the death of Jasmine, our family banded together through the unimaginable suffering. Through the grief, Project Jasmine gave us a purpose greater than ourselves and was founded in the beginning of July 2022.
Jasmine’s friends, family, our board of directors and supporters continue her legacy through fundraising, advocacy, and community outreach. We wish to protect others against domestic abuse and gun violence. Together, we can make a difference to protect others from becoming victims. If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic abuse or gun violence, please see our resources to know the signs and get protection.
Jasmine was studying to be a medical assistant. In the spirit of carrying on her dream to help others, Project Jasmine is offering scholarships to students who are pursuing degrees in the field of medical assisting and nursing; to include CNA certifications.
